The same four things, at every centre, on every scan type.
Every scan is read and reported by a UK-registered consultant radiologist, not a technician. The report is yours to keep and to share with any clinician.
Full diagnostic images in your patient portal, downloadable for a GP, consultant or insurer.
Scan time, the radiographer, and any standard preparation the centre provides on the day.
Online booking, written confirmation and appointment reminders. No booking fee is added at checkout.
An MRI is not one product. Four things move the figure, and all four are visible before you book.
Central London list higher than the same scan in the Midlands or the North. The listings show the price at each centre, so the comparison is on one screen rather than across five phone calls.
One joint costs less than a whole spine. Multi-region and full-body studies are priced as their own packages rather than as a multiple of the single-region price.
Some MRI and CT studies need a contrast agent, which adds the agent, the cannulation and a longer appointment. The listing states it before you book.
Same-day and next-day reporting cost more than the standard turnaround, because a radiologist is being taken off a scheduled list to read them.
Yes. What you see at checkout is what is taken, and no booking or administration fee is added on top. The two things that change the total are both optional and both shown before you pay: adding a GP consultation, and cancelling inside the 48-hour window.
Card, Klarna or Clearpay, all handled by Stripe. Payment is taken when you book, so there is nothing to settle at the centre.
Cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours before your appointment and you are refunded in full. Inside 48 hours a £35 rebooking fee may apply, because the slot is usually too late to offer to anyone else.
No. You can refer yourself for any scan on ScanBook. If your GP has referred you, the referral is worth a discount rather than costing you anything.
Yes, for £40 at the time of booking. It is worth having if you want someone to talk the report through with you rather than reading it alone.
We do not run a formal price match. Every centre sets its own price and all of them are on the listings, so the cheapest option for your scan is already visible without having to ask us.
